Due to some great conversations and encouragement this past week, tomorrow during Bible study we will be considering what it takes, as a church, to please God. A group of evangelical scholars who are part of a group for evangelism and church health made the following statements concerning the church that is most pleasing (spiritually healthy) to God will meet the following criteria.

1 - Experience 10% total membership growth over five years
2 - Baptize at least one new convert each year
3 - Score a member-to-baptism ratio of 35 to 1
4 - Maintain a percentage of conversion growth that is 25%.
- Leaving the source of information off for discussion purposes

Tell me what you think of these criteria.

On Wednesday night we will open the Bible and see if God has criteria for what pleases Him. I hope you join us for this time and we will be inserting prayer into the study time so that we can seek God's will and purpose for His church.

I want to please God, don't you?
